This Cookie Policy explains how fedDSP Ltd ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the owners of the site.
How we use cookies
We distinguish between cookies that are absolutely necessary for the website to function and optional cookies or similar technologies used for statistics and marketing.
1. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential. Without them, you cannot buy products or log into your account.
- Clerk: Used to manage secure user authentication, keep you logged in, and secure your session.
- Lemon Squeezy: Used to process payments, manage the shopping cart, and handle tax compliance during checkout.
- Netlify: Used to manage hosting infrastructure and site reliability.
2. Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to measure website trends (e.g., which pages are popular).
- Plausible is a privacy-first tool.
- It does not use cookies and does not collect any personal data or IP addresses.
- It aggregates data anonymously, so we can improve our site without tracking you individually.
We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use our website, and which visits lead to a purchase.
- Provider: Google LLC.
- Purpose: Website statistics and measuring which pages, campaigns and referrals lead to purchases.
- Cookies:
_gaand_ga_<ID>, which distinguish visitors and sessions. They last up to 2 years. - Checkout: If you allow Google Analytics, when you click BUY we pass its visitor and session identifiers to Lemon Squeezy, so that a purchase can be linked to the visit that led to it.
- Consent: Google Analytics only runs if you accept analytics cookies in our cookie banner or preferences panel.
- Opt-out: You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie preferences link in the footer, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on.
3. Marketing & Retargeting Cookies
We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook) to help us understand how effective our advertising is and to show you relevant ads on social media platforms based on your interest in our products.
- Provider: Meta Platforms, Inc.
- Purpose: Advertising effectiveness and retargeting.
- Cookies: Meta may use cookies such as
_fbpand_fbcfor browser and ad-click attribution. - Consent: Meta Pixel only runs if you accept marketing cookies in our cookie banner or preferences panel.
- Opt-out: You can control your ad preferences within your Facebook/Instagram settings.
4. Affiliate Referrals
If you reach our website through a partner's affiliate link, we record which partner referred you so they can be credited if you make a purchase.
- Cookie:
feddsp_aff, set by fedDSP only when you arrive through an affiliate link. - Contents: The partner's affiliate code. It does not contain any personal data about you.
- Duration: 30 days.
- Sharing: The code is passed to Lemon Squeezy at checkout, which runs our affiliate programme. Its own affiliate script, which may use its own cookie for the same purpose, only runs if you accept marketing cookies.
Managing Cookies
You can change your fedDSP cookie preferences at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the site footer.
Most web browsers allow some control of most cookies through the browser settings. However, if you disable strictly necessary cookies (like those from Clerk or Lemon Squeezy), key parts of the fedDSP website—such as downloading your products—will not function.
